Kitchen sink repair

My daughter helped clean out the refrigerator and dumped too many things down the sink thus clogging up the sink.

This was simply a matter of taking the U off of the sink cleaning it out and putting it back on.

Unfortunately the nuts are a little tight and one of them broke. I picked up about five  dollars worth of parts at Lowe's and had it back together in approximately 20 minutes.

It required an oversize set of pliers some paper towels and a one and a half inch nut and washer.

The pipes for under a sink available at Lowe's were in 1 1/2 and 1 1/4 inch sizes. Ours is 1.5 inch as I could tell simply by looking at it.
